| One of the most exciting things about the ministry of Christian education going on at College Susan Schuenke is that we are beginning to reap the fruits of our labor and our supporters prayers and donations. One of those fruits is Adlin Durozin. Adlin was an excellent student while he attended CSS. These days, Adlin is in his last year of university at the University of Notre Dame in Cap Haitien where he will receive a degree in education. Adlin attends the Evangelical Free Church in Cap Haitien and is teaching science and serves as one of the assistant directors at CSS. Adlin's story is repeated over and over in many of the students who have graduated from the school. Students from CSS often go on to higher education and excel in their respective fields. Many of them come back to make a difference in the ministries of CSS and Vision of Hope Ministries.
Another CSS graduate, Patrick Francklin, is currently completing his bachelor's degree in administration at the University of Notre Dame of Haiti. He is planning to return and manage a fresh water well project that Rotary International is installing next to our new church building in Berard.
Snarly Colas was class president during his days at CSS. He showed great leadership skills
while a student there and after graduating he received scholarship
money from a VOHM supporter to attend the university. He is studying
administration and hopes to manage a budding micro enterprise project
in Berard when he is finished with his studies.
These stories encourage us to persevere in our work at the school. We
share them with you so that you can be encouraged and inspired by the
great work the Lord is doing in the lives of these young Haitians. If
you would like to join us in this work, please click here to be taken to our scholarship page for opportunities to sponsor a young student!
