Awesome things have been going on in Grande Riviere church this week!

The Grand Riviere Church foundation is being constructed/base. I went out to the site yesterday for the first time. Church members from the Berard Church, Cap-Haitien church, and Grand Rivierie church all gathered together for construction.

Yesterday Pawola (one of my favorite drivers who lives in Grande Riverie) was driving a big truck full of doom water gallons. The church people (kids, adults, elders) would take the dooms and fill them with water in the Grande Riverie local river and then proceed to lift them (HUGE and HEAVY) on the truck and bring back to the site for the cement mixing. My dad and I happened to pull up when a truck load of water was coming for delivery to the site full of church affiliates. People where laughing and helping each other unload the dooms. I got chills videotaping and taking pics. It was such a remarkable thing to see people coming together to build a church! They really meant serious business! Hard working and sweating! Kids Michael's age helped gather water in small buckets and bowls. So cute!  I saw local Berard church members come back from the site late last night after the sun went down dirty & tired. So they were at the site working all day.
