Today, Missialder Belony was taken to the hospital in Milot.  He is the third child from our orphanage in Berard to have cholera.  Missialder is 14 years old and in the 9th grade.  He came to us a few years ago after the terrible flooding in Gonaives washed out the orphanage he was living in there.  His parents are living but unable to care for him.  Please pray that he recovers.

Junior and Angeline both were taken to the hospital a few days ago to be treated for cholera.  They are brother and sister.  They came to us after neighbors found them locked in their house in Cap Haitien with their mother who had died in childbirth.  Junior has HIV.  He has recovered enough to return to the orphanage.  Angeline is still in the hospital, but recovering.  Yesterday, we were sure she wasn't going to survive.

Keep Pastor Henoc and Guerline in your prayers.  In regards to this situation Pastor Henoc keeps repeating the word overwhelmed.  He and Guerline need a supernatural boost of wisdom and energy to do what must be done to rid the orphanage of cholera.  We ask that you please keep asking the Lord to intervene on their behalf.

All the kids will need medical attention, the sickest will need the most.  In addition, we will need to destroy all their mattresses and replace them with new.  Their clothing will be burned; we have replacements for that need in place already.  If you can help with these costs, please go to our Donate page here  and click on the Disaster Relief section.  Thank you so much for your support.
