What You Can Do -
VOHM Support
Vision of
Hope Ministries (VOHM) is the administrative,
spiritual and financial support organization in the U.S. for
the ministries overseen by our missionary Henoc Lucien in
northern Haiti. The operation of an international work in a
country as poor as Haiti requires many financial and human
resources.

three part budget:

field mission activity- Pastor Henoc Lucien’s salary is a
major component of this budget
College
Susan Schuenke(CSS) - nutrition program for students
and a scholarship program for needy children. We try to
provide a nutritious meal for 550+ students at least once a
week at 75 cents per meal per student. We are trying to
provide for 130 needy student scholarships at $330/year. We
also fund various school supply needs.

What can you
do?
General Fund
- Churches and individuals who donate on a
regular basis to the General Fund are the backbone of
financial support for this ministry. These regular supporters
enable the board to plan for future ministry opportunities.
While many give on a monthly basis, there are also those who
donate quarterly and even yearly. Donations to this fund
support the ministry salaries – including Pastor Henoc’s, as
well as all field and stateside expenses.
Nutrition Program
- Many of the students who attend school at
College Susan Schuenke struggle to obtain a daily nutritious
meal on their own. When a hot meal is served at the school,
the student’s ability to concentrate and learn is greatly
enhanced. The cost is approximately $430.00 per day to feed
the staff (20) and students (550). We are currently serving
two meals per week (as funds permit). 100% of the donations
to this fund go towards food.
School Scholarship
- tuition at our school, College Susan
Schuenke, costs $330 per year. In a nation where only 50% of
the population is able to read and write proficiently, a solid
education is critical for survival. Many families are
unable to afford for their children’s education.
Capital Improvements
- donations to this fund go toward projects
that are determined by the VOHM board to be a
priority. In the past, this fund has paid for a replacement
for our ministry vehicle, church buildings, school classrooms,
and new equipment for the churches and
school.
